Cookie policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

This page describes the cookies set by rewardme.now, their purpose and how to manage them. The website uses no advertising cookies and performs no cross-site tracking.

1.What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser at a website's request. It allows the website to recognize your browser on later visits, without identifying you personally by itself.

2.Strictly necessary cookies

rewardme_device_id: an anonymous technical identifier for your browser (lifetime: 2 years). It lets us find your existing loyalty card if you re-scan a business's QR code and restore your balance — it contains no declarative personal data. rewardme_customer_session: a secure (httpOnly) session token set only if you sign in to the customer portal, to keep you authenticated.

3.Preference cookies

Your language choice (French or English) is remembered by the website's localization mechanism so the right version is shown on each visit.

4.Third-party cookies

The website sets no advertising or social network cookies. If you sign in to the customer portal with Google, authentication is handled by Google under its own privacy policy, with no tracking cookie set by rewardme.now.

5.Managing cookies

You can delete cookies at any time from your browser settings. Deleting the rewardme_device_id cookie does not erase your loyalty balance: it is kept server-side and your card remains restorable from the business's QR code or your portal account.
